CPCC's Children and Youth Ministries

Research suggests that children learn best when presented with age appropriate materials and at CPCC we offer separate experiences for children in our Adventure and Dwelling Place programs. Infants through two years of age are in our nursery where even at this young age they learn about God and His love. Children aged 2, 3, and 4 each meet in their own room as part of Little Adventure. Here they encounter experiences from the Bible made relevant for them. The main Adventure rooms house students in kindergarden through grade 5. Adventure is the best hour of the week for these children as they participate in music and experiences that lead them to a fuller understanding of God’s love. Our middle and high school youth meet in the Dwelling Place where they experience music and messages tailored just for them. All the adult leaders for both Adventure and the Dwelling Place must pass background checks before they can interact with any of our children’s groups, and we maintain an ongoing program of training for our adult staff.
